Meet Hakeem
Once upon a time, there was a very brave boy named Hakeem who lived in Tripoli, the capital and largest city of Libya. Hakeem was an orphan. He didn’t have any parents, or other family, so he lived all alone. Hakeem dreamt of being successful and having a beautiful house with a nice garden and big rooms. He imagined inviting his friends to his home.
One day, Hakeem was walking in an area in Tripoli where all the rich people live.
He was just daydreaming, and admiring the magnificent homes when a stern voice startled him, “What are you doing here gypsy boy?”
Hakeem turned around astonished to see a stern looking policeman standing there.
“I’m just looking at the houses”, replied Hakeem timidly.
“Leave this area immediately or you will be in big trouble!” shouted the policeman.
Hakeem hurried away with a tear in his eye, promising himself that he would work hard to one day be welcomed in a neighborhood like the one he had just been ordered to leave.
Staying true to his promise, Hakeem decided to embark on a journey to find his destiny and to pursuit happiness.
He left the rocky shores of his home Libya to the bustling streets of Cairo in Egypt. ...
